Let's start

This is quite a long lesson.......so pay attention ! ;o)

 

1/ Open a transparent image of  640x480 pixels

Selections– select all

Activate and copy - Paper2-Atmosphere-AD-  paste in the selection

Adjust  – hue and saturation – colorize – hue 0 - saturation88

 

2/ Layers - new raster layer

Selections  – modify – contract - 70 pixels

Activate and copy - Paper9-Atmosphere-AD – paste in the selection

Selections - select none

 

3/ Activate and copy - Beth[EA]_SOP-FrameLaceEmpty – paste as new layer

Image  – free rotate– 90 degrees  – direction left

Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow – vertical en horizontal 1, opacity 65, blur 10 - and color to black

Effects – plugins – xero – porcelain – with these settings

Adjust  – sharpness - sharpen

 

4/ Activate  raster 2 in your layers palette - erase the little corners which is still visible under your lace frame

Use these settings for the eraser

5/ Activate the top layer in your layers palette

Selectect  with your magic wand the inside of the FrameLaceEmpty  with these settings - mode: add - tolerance and feather 0

 

Layers - new raster layer

Activate and copy - nikita_reveries_f_06_07.08[1] and paste in selection

Selections - select none

Adjust  – sharpness - sharpen

Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow – vertical 10 , horizontal -5, opacity 50, blur 20  and color to black

Duplicate this layer in your layer palette and activate the layer underneath

Image – resize – 105% - DO not check resize all layers

Effects – texture effects – mozaic antique – with these settings

Put the opacity of this layer to 45

 

6/ Activate the top layer in your layers palette

Activate and copy - Bow3-Atmosphere-AD – paste as new layer

Image  – free rotate – 25 degrees - direction left

Image – resize - 35 % - DO not check resize all layers and place it left on top

Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow – vertical-3 en horizontal 3, opacity 65, blur 8 and color to black

Adjust  – sharpness - sharpen

Activate and copy - Bow5-Atmosphere-AD – paste as new layer

Image  – free rotate – 25 degrees - direction left

Image – resize - 30 % - DO not check resize all layers and place it on the other bow

Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow – vertical 3 and horizontal -3, opacity 65, blur 8 and color to black

Layers - merge - merge down

Duplicate this layer in your layer palette

Image - mirror

Layers - merge - merge down

Duplicate this layer in your layer palette

Image - invert

Layers - merge

 

7/ Selections – select all – contract 20 pixels

Effects– 3D effects – cutout – vertical and horizontal 3,opacity 60, blur 10 and color to #570d33

Selections - invert

 

8/ put your foreground color to  #692648

Layers - new raster layer and flood fill with the foreground color

Effects – plug in filter – Graphics Pluss – Cross Shadow – using default settings

Effects – 3D effects – inner bevel – with these settings

Selections - select none

 

9/ put your foreground color to #efe8de and back ground color to #692648

Activate your text tool and choose a font or take the font that I have chosen and that is font  Shelley Volante BT size +- 72 made as vector

Type your text Diva an place it on a nice spot

Layers - convert to rasterlayer

Effects - 3D effects - drop schadow - vertical and horizontal 3, opacity 50, blur 10 and color black

 

10/ Layers - new raster layer and place your watermark

 

11/ Layers - merge - merg all

 

12/ Activate  Curtain-Atmosphere-AD – Copy - paste as new layer

Image  – resize– 65% - DO not check resize all layers

Image  – sharpness  – sharpen

Put the opacity of this layer to 73

Duplicate this layer 6 times in your layer palette

Now you will have in total 7 layers of the curtains in your layer palette

If you've done everything well! you get this

 

Activate your selection tool   

With these settings - selection type: rectangle - mode add - feather 0 and anti alias checked

 Make copy of raster 6 active

Select with your selection tool a part of the curtains on  either side and press the Delete key and close the eye of this layer - look at my example here below

Selections - select none 

 

Make copy 5 of raster 1 active

Select with your selection tool a bit more of the curtains on either side - look at the example

And press the Delete key again and close also the eye of this layer

Selections - select none

Repeat this with all the other copy's of raster 1 and each time you select a bit further

All the eyes of the copies of raster 1 must be closed

The eye  of raster 1 and background are still open

Edit - merged copy

 

Open Animation Shop

Edit - paste as new animation

 

Back to  PSP

Close the eye of raster 1 and open the eye of copy 6

Edit - merged copy

 

Back to  Animation Shop

Edit - paste after active frame

 

Back to  PSP

Close the eye of copy 6 and open the eye op copy 5

Edit - merged copy

 

Back to  Animation Shop

Edit - paste after active frame

So repeat this futher with al the copy's of raster 1
 

Now the curtain must be closed again

 

Back to  PSP

Close the eye of copy raster 1 and open the eye of copy 2

Edit - merged copy

Close the eye of copy 2 and open the eye of copy 3

Animation - frame properties - 70

Activate frame 7

Animation - frame properties - 120
