Here we go  

 

1/  In your Materials Palette Set your Foreground Color to #a4b0b4 http://www.marinettedesings.be/happy_valentine_bestanden/image003.gif and Background Color to #efcace  http://www.marinettedesings.be/happy_valentine_bestanden/image004.gif

 

2/ Open the Image / Background Happy Valentine_MP_2013

Duplicate it by pressing your Shift and d Key and close the original

The duplicated Background is now active

Adjust / Add/Remove / Noise / Add Noise (with these settings)

 

3/ Layers / New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your Foreground Color http://www.marinettedesings.be/happy_valentine_bestanden/image003.gif

Layers / Load/Save Mask / Load Mask from Disk / ruiten (with these settings)

Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Image / Resize / 110% / Resize all layers not checked

Effects / Plugins / Graphics Plus / Cross Shadow (default settings)

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical and Horizontal 1 / Opacity 50 / Blur 0 and Color black

 

4/ Activate and Copy / ch/sinflower4 / Paste as new layer on your Image / Placement is immediately good

Image / Resize / 120% / Resize all layers not checked

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow (same settings)

 

5/ In your Materials Palette Lock your Foreground Color

Activate the Tool / Basic Shape / Heart (with these settings)

Start in the top left corner and pull down to open the heart (see my example)

Layers / Convert to Raster Layer

6/ Effects / Texture Effects / Weave (with these settings)

7/ Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin / Eye Candy 5: Impact / Glass (default settings)

Settings / Clear No Drop Shadow

8/ Activate and Copy / ch/RedBow/AVB2 / Paste as new layer on your Image

Image / Resize / 50% / Resize all layers not checked

Place left just above the heart

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical and Horizontal 3 / Opacity 50 / Blur 5 and Color black

 

9/ Image / Add Borders / 20 pixels / Foreground Color / symmetrical checked

Select this Border with your Magic Wand (with these settings)

Effects / Texture Effects / Weave (with these settings)

Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel (with these settings)

Selections / Select None 

10 / Activate and Copy / yp_tatty_teddy_little_petal / Paste as new layer on your Image

Image / Resize / 80% / Resize all layers not checked

Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical and Horizontal 5 / Opacity 50 / Blur 15 and Color black

Place bottom right (see my example)

 

11/ In your Materials Palette Set your Foreground to Radial Gradient (with these settings)

 Image / Add Borders / 20 pixels / Color white / symmetrical checked

Layers / New Raster Layer

Activate your Magic Wand Tool and select the white Border and fill with the Gradient

Selections / Select None

Effects / Plugins / Graphics Plus / Cross Shadow (with these settings)


12/ Layers / Merge / Merge all Layers

 

13/ In your Materials Palette Set the Foreground Color to white

Activate your Text Tool / Font / Fiolex Girls / size of your choice / enter Happy

Layers / Convert to Raster Layer

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical and Horizontal 1 / Opacity 100 / Blur 0 and Color black

Place top right

Repeat this process with the word Valentine's Day and place it at the bottom left

 

14/ Layers / Merge / Merge all Layers

 

15/ Activate / Hartjes_MarinetteDesigns_27_2013 / pink Copy

and Paste as a New Layer on your Image

Place any other hearts of your choice

 

16/ Layers / New Raster Layer and add your name and or watermark

Layers / Merge / Merge all Layers

 

File / Export / JPEG / Optimization
