1/ Put in your Materials Palette foreground color #ecfefe / background color #9ebad8 http://www.marinettedesings.be/let_it_snow_bestanden/image005.jpg

Create a Radial Gradient with these settings

2/ Open a New Transparent Image of 640 x 480 pixels and fill it with the Gradient

Effects / Plugins / Filters Unlimited 2.0 / Paper Textures / Mineral Paper Limestone / Default

 

3/ Layers / New Raster Layer and fill with your foreground color light

Layers / Load / Save Mask / Load Mask from Disk and find the mask

Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical and Horizontal 1 / Opacity 100 / Blur 0 and color black

Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen

 

4/ Activate your Selection Tool (s) with these settings

Draw an Eclipse on your creation (see my example)

5/ Layers / New Raster Layer

Activate and copy / downloads_paysages_1250147461_paysages - paste into your selection

Set the Blend Mode of this layer in your layers palette to dissolve

Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

Keep selection active

 

6/ Layers / New Raster Layer

Effects / Plugins / Alien Skins Eye Candy 5: Impact / Glass / with these settings

 Basic Settings                                                And these are the settings for lighting

 

Selections / Select None

7/ Activate Mover Tool (k) and pull the oval open (see my example)

Press the m key on your keyboard to go back to the mover tool

  

8/ Image / Add Borders / 2 pixels foreground color

Image / Add Borders / 20 pixels background color

Selections / Select All

Selections / Modify - Contract / 20 pixels

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical and Horizontal 2 / Opacity 40 / Blur 10 color black

Repeat this Drop Shadow except with Vertical and Horizontal -2

Selections / Select None

Image / Add Borders / 2 pixel foreground color

 

9/ Activate and copy / speld (pin and ribbon) / paste as new layer on your image

Place it top right / see my example

Activate / Free Hand Selection Tool / with these settings

Select around the ribbon / Selection does not have to be accurate

Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize / with these settings

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical and Horizontal 5 / Opacity 35 /  Blur 10 and color black

 

10 / Activate and copy /Image 3Winter Warmth_LR-06-06-09 / and paste as new layer on your image

Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen and place it slightly downward

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical -20 / Horizontal 20 / Opacity 35 / Blur 10 and color black

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Vertical 2 and Horizontal -2 / Opacity 35 / Blur 10 and color black

 

11/ Activate the bottom layer in your layers palette

Layers - New Raster Layer and add your Watermark

 

12/ Activate and Copy / Titel_Let it snow_MP - paste as new layer on your creation and place the oval on the right

 

13 / Copy / hulsttakje (sprig of Holly) / paste as new layer on your image and place it above the title to the left (see example)

 

14/ Close the eye of the bottom layer

 

15/ Activate the upper layer

Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

 

16/ Open the eye of the bottom layer and close the eye of the merged layer

 

17/ Activate the bottom layer in your layers palette

Selection Tool / Select the inside of the oval

Duplicate this layer 4x in your layers palette and to make it easier to keep track of your layers Re-name each one - see my example

Effects / Plugins / VD Adrenaline / Snowflakes / with these settings and then press ok and close the eye of this layer

19/ Activate layer No. 4 in your layers palette

Effects / Plugins / VD Adrenaline / Snowflakes / settings are good but do random seed within + - 1400 and close the eye of this layer

 

20/ Activate layer No. 3 in your layers palette

Effects / Plugins / VD Adrenaline / Snowflakes / settings are good but do random seed within + - 3000 and close the eye of this layer

 

21/ Activate layer No. 2 in your layer palette

Effects / Plugins / VD Adrenaline / Snowflakes / settings are good but do random seed within + - 4400 and close the eye of this layer

 

22/ Activate layer No. 1 in your layers palette

Effects / Plugins / VD Adrenaline / Snowflakes / settings are good but do random seed within + - 8000

 

23/ Selections / Select None

 

24/ Open eye of the merged layer

The eye of No layer 1 is still open

Edit / Copy Merged

 

25/ Open Animation Shop

Edit / Paste as new animation

 

26/ Back to PSP

Close the No eye of layer 1 and open the eye of layer No. 2

Edit / Copy Merged

 

27/ Back to Animation Shop

Edit / paste after current frame

 

28/ Back to PSP

Close the eye of layer No. 2 and open the eye of layer No. 3
