Color Palette

 

We are going to start

 

In your materials Palette set your Foreground color to #83a846 and Background color to #ffffff

 

1. Open a transparent Image of 900 x 600 pixels

Selections / Select All

 

2. Activate / Uil_tubed by Linda.png

Edit / Copy / Edit / Paste into Selection

Selections / Select None

Remove the name of the tuber

 

3. Layers / Duplicate

Image / Mirror

Layers / Merge / Merge Down

 

4. Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling (default settings)

 

5. Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / Radius 15

 

6. Layers / New Mask Layer from Image / Mask2520104 (with the below settings) 

Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Layers / Duplicate x2

Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

 

7. Layers / New Raster Layer

Activate the Flood Fill Tool and fill with your Foreground color #83a846

Effects / Plugins / Graphics Plus / Cross Shadow (with these settings)

Effects / Texture Effects / Texture / Plaid -15 (with the below settings)

 Effects / Edge Effects Enhance

 

8. Layers / New Mask Layer from Image / Mask 252 067 (with the below settings)

Layers / Merge / Merge Group

 

9. Activate your Magic Wand and select the three rectangles

Selections / Modify / Expand by 10

 

10. Activate / Paysages_0030_lisat

Duplicate (shift + d) and remove the name of the tuber and continue

Edit / Paste as New Layer on your Image

 

Image / Resize 90% / Resize all Layers not checked

Slide down a bit so that the first Gold tree in its entirety in the rectangle (see my example below)

Selections / Invert

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Selections / Select None

Layers / Arrange / Move Down  

 

11. Activate the first Layer in the Layers Palette

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Horizontal 5 / Vertical 5 / Opacity 60 / Blur 0 / Color #000000

 

12. Layers / New Raster Layer and fill with Background color / #ffffff

Adjust / Add Noise/Remove / Add Noise (with the below settings)

 Layers / Arrange / Send to Bottom

 

13. Image / Add Borders / 15 pixels / color #83a846 / Symmetric checked

Select the Border with your Magic Wand

Effects / Texture Effects / Texture / Plaid 15 (same settings as before)

Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

Effects / 3D Effects / Inner bevel (with the below settings)

Selections / Select None

 

14. Image / Add Borders / 60 pixels / color #ffffff / Symmetric checked

Selections / Select All

Selections / Modify / Contract 30 pixels

Selections / Modify / Select Selection Borders (with the below settings) 

 

15. Make a Linear Gradient with your l Foreground color #83a846 and Background color to #ae8e75

With these settings / Angle 45 / Repeats 3  

Layers / New Raster Layer

Activate the Flood Fill Tool and fill the Selection with the Gradient

Selections / Select None

Effects / Distortion Effects / Spiky Halo (with the below settings)

Effects / Texture Effects / Texture / Plaid 15 (same settings as before)

Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

Effects / 3D effects / Inner Bevel (same settings as before)

                                                         

16. Activate the bottom Layer in your Layers Palette

Layers / Promote Background Layer

Activate Magic Wand and select the white border

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Selections / Select None

 

17. Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

 

18. Activate / Mtm_Bloemen 197/Arpie/small/20th April 2007

Edit / Copy / Paste as New Layer on your Image

Image / Mirror / Mirror Horizontal

Image / Resize 60% / Resize all Layers unchecked and place top left (see my example)

Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen

Effects /3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Horizontal 0 / Vertical 15 / Opacity 50 / Blur 20 / Color #000000

 

19. Activate the Owl / and remove the name of the tuber

Edit / Copy / Paste as New Layer on your Image and place in the bottom right corner

Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow (with the below settings)

Vertical 0 / Horizontal 15 / Opacity 50 / blur 20 / Color black

Drop Shadow on a New Layer Checked

Activate the Eraser Tool and remove the Shadow on the green edge of the Shadow Layer

Activate the top Layer in your Layers Palette

Repeat this Drop Shadow but now with horizontal and -15 (Drop Shadow on a New Layer not Checked)

 

20. Activate / Nature1Wordart

Edit / Copy / Paste as New Layer on your Image and place left (see my example)

 

21. Activate / Mtm_Bloemen 208/20 May 2007

Edit / Copy / Paste as New Layer on your Image

Give it a Drop Shadow

 

22. Layers / New Raster Layer and add your name or watermark

 

23. Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

 

File / Export / PNG Optimization
